BUSY BUSY

So it's been about a week since I have written, and it's also the end of week two. I was sick a bit this week, feeling better now. That doesn't mean I wasn't busy though. We had a driving lesson, which was interesting. Someone should have refreshed our instructor before he tried to teach us. We started tech yesterday. Ray and I are on sound and spent a majority of the morning waiting around because half our equipment was not there. It was a very unprepared load in. But we got through it, finished sound cue to cue. They are filming a movie with Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and 50 Cent literally a stones throw from the theater we are at in Bridgeport. Well onto tech day two. Man these early mornings are going to kill me

So...

It's been a while since I've wrote. It is Sunday, and once again at three days before we have off. Tomorrow will be exactly one week before we hit the road. I'm excited but it's also becoming crunch time. I'm a bit nervouse about running the show since I have to do both lights and sound, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. So the other night was very interesting, learning more and more about people. Which is nice, sometimes it's a bit intense. There are certain people I want to get to know more, and there is some that are just annoying. I hope I can justignore them enough, before it escalates into something more. The hard part is I'm not the only person annoyed with them. And some people don't have as much patience as me. It should be interesting.

Oh man

So yesterday was an early day off, so Jen and I went to the mall. That mall is quite huge. I needed some more shirts because apparently I was on crack when I packed my suitcase and thought I was going to go around topless for some time. Anyway, there were some good sales at Target and Steve and Barry's is awesome. We also had some happy hour drinks, but left shortly because the bar was full of Red Sox fans, booooo. Then we came back and met our other roommate and the boys to go to Hooters, which is everyone's favorite place. I am sick of it so I ate leftovers from a real wing place. Then we came back to our room to watch the game. Which is hysterical watching it with Jay because all he does is pace back and forth and say derogatory things at the TV. And finally the end of the night was going to meet the rest of the Romeo and Juliet cast who are awesome and it will definitely be fun with just our two casts left in the hotel. So today is a day off. Housekeeping has already tried to barge into our room twice while I've been writing this and scared the shit out of me. Good thing I put the latch across because it's not like they knock or anything before they enter. Oh man gotta love the HOJOs the ghettoist place on earfh. I believe the five of us that didn't go into NYC for the day off are going to see Anne Frank this afternoon, so that's exciting.

You know what really gets me going...

I hate when people don't let me speak, or think for me. I hate when people undermine my intelligence. If you want to give me some advice that is fine but don't lecture me as if I'm not capable of making decisions on my own. And make sure you have the facts straight before you try to lecture me because if you don't know what you are talking about, that is what really gets me going.

Crazy Night

So started off with a really great run yesterday of the show. It suprised me greatly that we ahev only been here 5 days and the show was in awesome shape. Then we got out rehearsal early and went to Buffalo Wild Wings, a place in the mall who had 40 cent wings. They were awesome though. Then we came back to the hotel for a House party, and then all craziness ensued. My cast is hysterical, I don't think I've laughed this hard the time I've been here in a really long time. Some people got a bit drunker than we expected, but whatcha going to do. We live in a hotel. Well I am definitely feeling the strain of 6 8 hour rehearsal days and partying last night. Off to the shower, and we are also getting out early today from rehearsal so early start to our day off. And it's PAY DAY. By the way played this awesome theater game yesterday which is caled Boofda, I am amazing at it.

Tuesday Tuesday

So here we are two days left before we have a day off. Last night I was educated in football since 7/10 are football fans. I still don't completely get it and think football is completely useless but whatever floats your boat. So rehearsal has been going well, doing our calistenics each morning. I swam laps for an hour last night, now my body hates me. Tonight is wing night at this place in the mall, and House is also on. So excited. I need to watch Prison Break at some point online. Oh well time to get ready for rehearsal.

Day Two Down

So end of day two, and all is well. Unfortunately there are three of us in one room at this time, which sucks balls. Nasty spring-broken cot not so comfortable. But luckily my little chickadees are cool. Rehearsals have been going well, it's an interesting process to see how another company works. The rest of the cast is real cool too, everyone seems to be real easy going, hopefully things stay that way. I guess it's always a good sign when you spend 7 1/2 hrs rehearsing together and still go out and eat and party with each other. Milford, is interesting. There is a lot of stuff close by so I guess that is good. Our hotel is ghetto, for sure. Some interesting stains here and there, showering in the dark because the light doesn't work properly. Whatcha going to do we're living. It could be worse some people have bed bugs, and two of the boys in our cast have like a mildew god aweful smell in their room. Oh well, off to shower because I got to be up early tomorrow for an 8 1/2 hr rehearsal. Thursday is our first day off and it can't come soon enough.
